Blogging is a popular way for anybody to put information on the web for others to view. Blogs vary greatly in both their style and content. They have a couple of things that distinguish them from other kinds of Web 2.0 web content.

 

• Content is tagged and catagorized making it easier to search.
• Comments may be made about each posting
• Content is arranged in chronological order from most recent.

For teachers, the blog can be a source of ideas, a place to share ideas, a place to comment on what others have written.

For Students the blog can be a place to write a book review, journal their learning on a topic, share ideas with their friends, comment on work by their fellow classmates.
